The Swan Centre will participate in Purple Tuesday 2019, taking place on 12 November.
Purple Tuesday is an international call to action focused on improving the customer experience for disabled people. It’s a milestone awareness moment for an issue that is relevant 365 days a year. Please join us on this journey!
We will be in the Centre from 10am until 3pm with sunflower lanyards available for those with hidden disabilities as part of the Sunflower Lanyard Scheme, our sensory guides, autism cards and literature explaining support available for those with autism and dementia.
We will be joined by One Community at 11am, who will be talking to the public about the support that they provide in the community, as well as running a tombola.
